Assistant to the Registrar

The University of Valley Forge invites application for an Assistant to the Registrar. Reporting to the Registrar, the Assistant to the Registrar facilitates the registration of students, inputs and maintains data within the Student Information System, evaluates transfer requests, represents the department as the point of contact to several third-party agencies and prepares internal and external reports. Compensation is based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Jenzabar EX to facilitate Registrar’s Office functions.
  • Supervise Registrar’s Office staff.
  • School Certifying Official for Military Benefits.
  • Evaluate requests for transfer credit.
  • Serve as the point of contact for new student scheduling.
  • Serve as the point of contact for graduating students and the graduation ceremony.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters involving the University and its agents or employees.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Registrar.

Qualifications

  • Strong and demonstrated skills in data management.
  • Experience working with Jenzabar EX.
  • Demonstrated ability to record, verify and report data with a very high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines without direct supervision.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related applications.
  • An openly committed Christian, living a Spirit-filled life (Acts 2:4, Ephesians 5:18ff); affirming a doctrinal position consistent with Assemblies of God beliefs.
