Field Experience Coordinator – Education Department

The Education Department invites applications for the position of a part-time Field Experience Coordinator. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining healthy working relationships with area private and public schools, placing students from multiple certification areas and levels of study in field experiences, keeping records of students currently engaged in field experiences, and observing, evaluating, and mentoring students as they proceed through the field experience program. Compensation will be based on educational qualifications. Approximately 20 hours per week are required during the academic year.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of education
  • 3 or more years teaching experience grades K – 12
  • Strong commitment to Christian faith and practice

The Department

The Education Department offers bachelor’s degrees in Education leading to Pennsylvania certifications in Early Childhood PK-4, Middle Level 4-8, Special Education PK-8 (dual certification) and Secondary English 7-12. UVF also offers a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.
