Director of Handbell Ensemble

The University of Valley Forge seeks a part-time handbell director to commence in August 2019.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Direct the University Handbell Ensemble, Patriot Bells, in weekly rehearsals.
  • Select two appropriate pieces to be performed at UVF’s annual Christmas concert.
  • Maintain and polish instruments regularly.
  • Make repairs in house when possible.
  • Keep bell storage area organized and tidy.
  • Be a collegial member of a dynamic, interactive faculty.


All applicants must express a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony in a local church.  In addition, instructors agree to live in accordance to the UVF Lifestyle standards.   • Experience directing a handbell ensemble in either a church or university setting.
