Facilities Department – Administrative Assistant

The University of Valley Forge seeks a full-time Administrative Assistant to work in our Facilities Department.  This position reports to the Director of Facilities.


  • Organize and coordinate office administration and procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Oversee inventory control and purchasing.
  • Verify invoices for accounting department.
  • Be the point person in dealing with contractors and vendors.
  • Maintain department calendar, organize and schedule meetings and appointments for the department director.
  • Verify hours worked for housekeeping and maintenance staff.
  • Keep attendance records.
  • Participate in the interview process for new student workers.
  • Ensure confidentiality, security and integrity of data.
  • Act as a liaison between University departments and Director of Facilities.
  • Attend inter-departmental meetings and participate in committees such as graduation.
  • Comply with University policies, governmental rules and regulations.


  • Three years of administrative experience.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethics.
  • An openly committed Christian, living a Spirit-filled life (Acts 2:4, Ephesians 5:18ff); affirming a doctrinal position consistent with Assemblies of God beliefs.
