The Ministry Leadership and Theology Department invites applications for a full-time faculty role in the area of Ministry Leadership and Theology to commence in Fall 2022. General responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate level, recruitment, interaction and advising students, alumni engagement, development, and other projects. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications, including education and experience.
Earned master’s degree in Ministry Leadership, Pastoral Leadership, Theology, or a related field is required. A doctorate degree such as a Ph.D. or D. Min. is preferred. Higher education teaching experience, as well as practical experience, is preferred. Applicants should possess knowledge of pastoral leadership, biblical studies, and systematic theology. Must be supportive of the ethos and doctrine of the Assemblies of God.
The Ministry Leadership and Theology department enrolls approximately 120 undergraduate students offering programs in Pastoral Leadership, Ministry Leadership, Family Studies, Children’s Studies, and Youth Ministries. These degree programs are offered to students who have a heart to serve, a thirst for biblical knowledge, and a passion to share the Gospel. This department also offers a Theological Studies major for students who wish to deepen their understanding of the Bible and theology and who may be called to parachurch ministries or graduate studies. The majors in the department are designed to prepare students to fulfill the mission of God through a wide range of careers both in the church and parachurch ministries.
