UVF Students are Thriving

The Thriving Quotient ™ is a survey administered to over 11,000 Christian college students nationwide that focuses on measuring the multifaceted aspects of a student’s college experience. This year, UVF students participated in the survey for the first time.

One key area where UVF students exceeded other Christian college students was in the area of spiritual formation. How do you measure spiritual formation? This survey was based upon students’ responses to questions that asked about diverse indicators of spiritual growth such as participation in times of personal prayer, repentance to sin, discerning God’s leading in their life, their commitment to a biblical worldview.

We want to see every student at Valley Forge thrive by becoming radical followers of Jesus. When they understand his Gospel, experience his presence, understand his ways, and engage in his mission, they will thrive. The classes, chapel, and co-curricular programs are all designed to encourage the spiritual development of our students, and the recent Thriving Quotient ™ survey is one more indicator that our students are becoming the disciples of Jesus that our world needs.
