Scholarship Award Information

  • Fine Arts Scholarships – renewable scholarships awarded to first-time entering freshmen and transfer students who received an “Excellent,” “Superior,” “Top 10,” or “Award of  Merit.” Students will receive an award based on their highest achievement in each category attained throughout their high school career. Awards can be stacked up to a maximum of $2,500 from different categories.
  • Full-Tuition Scholarships – two participants from the 2020 UVF Virtual International Fine Arts Event will be awarded a nonrenewable full-tuition scholarship for the 2020-2021 academic year. To receive the scholarship, students must be resident students at UVF’s main campus, enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program, and have a minimum 2.0 GPA.
  • Participants may be selected to apply for additional scholarships such as:

Eligibility and Submission Requirements

  • UVF will use the AG National Fine Arts rule book as a guide
  • Participants must be in high school (9th-12th grade)
  • Participants are limited to one submission per category
  • Participants are limited to a total of three categories
  • Registration fee is $20 (including first category) and $10/additional category

  • Do I have to travel to UVF for this event?
    • No. This event is 100% virtual!
  • What kind of feedback will I get from my submission?
    • Feedback may vary depending on the volume of submissions.
  • When will I hear back from UVF?
    • This will depend on the volume of submissions. After the submission window closes, UVF will send a communication to all participants with an expected timeline for the evaluations to be complete.
  • Can I use the scholarship award for another school?
    • No. Scholarships awarded for this event can only be used at UVF.
  • Do I need to do anything else to be considered for additional scholarships, including the full-tuition award?
    • Since all participants will automatically be evaluated and considered for additional scholarships, you do not need to do anything else. If you qualify for additional scholarships, someone will be in contact with you once the initial round of evaluations are complete.
  • Is there anything else I should know about the scholarship awards?
    • These scholarships are considered University of Valley Forge Institutional Aid and are subject to all limitations and requirements included in that category. These limitations and requirements include, but are not limited to, maintaining a cumulative 2.0 GPA, maintaining full-time status, and being main campus students in an undergraduate degree program. This scholarship may not stack with other performance scholarships. Please see the University Catalog and/or the Financial Aid brochure for more details.
    • Students must apply and be accepted to UVF to receive this scholarship.
    • Scholarships from the 2020 UVF Virtual International Fine Arts Event must be applied for in the academic year immediately following the student’s high school graduation.
    • Scholarships will be subject to the rules in place at the academic year of entry at UVF for each student.
  • Can I appeal an evaluator’s decision?
    • No. All evaluations are final.
