Benefits of Dual Enrollment
If you’re trying to strategize your high school classes for the most impact, Dual Enrollment is one of the best options. Here’s why:
- You could earn college credit without taking an AP exam.
- Your high school or homeschool curriculum may allow you to count the classes for high school too.
- Through UVF, it only costs $75 per credit and the cost of books. That’s much less than a traditional college course.
- Depending on how many classes you take, you could earn up to 2 full semesters (30 credits) of college. That means, you would save not only on tuition but a whole school year of living expenses too.
- If you are looking to work part-time and/or participate in extra-curricular activities while studying in college, you could take a lighter courseload in college and have more time to balance work, extra-curriculars and rest.
