The Business Department invites applications for an adjunct faculty role to teach undergraduate Business courses as a 15-week in-person course for the Business Administration programs on the campus of UVF.
Essential Responsibilities
- Must be available to teach seated courses on campus for 15 weeks during a given semester.
- Be a spiritual model through a Christian lifestyle.
- Instructors currently needed to teach the following courses for the Spring 2026 semester:
- Macroeconomics
- International Aspects of Business
- Business Policy
Work Environment
The work environment consists of exposure to physical conditions typical of a normal office environment. Most of the job is performed while sitting, although the work may require standing or walking and/or the lifting and carrying of small objects.
Spiritual Requirements
All employees must be openly committed followers of Christ and sign the UVF Community Covenant.
Qualifications and Abilities
- Earned Doctorate in Business or related field preferred. Master’s degree in a related field will also be considered.
- Preferred: At least three years teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
- Strong commitment to Christian faith and practice required.
The Department
The Business Department serves approximately 130 students, offering Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting, General Business, Global Business, Human Resources, Management, Marketing, Music Business and Technology, and Sport Management. The department also offers Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Organizational Leadership.
