President’s Banquet raises over $450,000 for scholarships

On February 17th, 2023 staff members, students, alumni, and donors of the University of Valley Forge gathered for a night of performances and socializing to raise funds for student scholarships. With over 200 guests and raising over $450,000, the 2nd annual President’s Baquet made quite the impact for UVF. The evening began with a reception and time of fellowship followed by dinner and a show. The time consisted of a performance by the University Choir, speeches from students and supporters as well as our President, testimonial videos, and a call to give. We are so grateful to those who came out, and to all who gave. Here is the kind of impact your giving makes:

“Tonight, new friends of UVF were made, over $450,000 was raised for student scholarships, and guests were exposed to what makes UVF students special and what the culture of UVF produces in graduates. Watching the students shine at the annual President’s Banquet is always such a gift, and it’s a miracle to see the incredible spirit of giving that is evident. By exhibiting students’ stories and testimonies, we hope to make our community aware of the wonderful way that God is moving on our campus.” – Kari Mauerman (Alumni Coordinator)

“The purpose of the President’s Banquet is to create an event where our students can use their talents, share stories of how scholarships have made a college education a reality, and trust the Holy Spirit to create a heart to invest in this next generation. At least one-third in attendance were new to the University of Valley Forge, but the generosity in the room was contagious. One guest said, ‘I’ve never felt more hopeful about this young generation as I do tonight.’ The best part was God’s presence; it was all so strong all night.” – Steve DeFrain (VP of Development & Church Relations)
