UVF Announces New Church Revitalization Master’s Degree

In a 2019 study of Protestant churches, LifeWay Research found that 60% of churches are declining or plateauing. Smaller churches are particularly vulnerable: only 20% of churches with an average attendance under 50 are growing.

UVF’s new Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership – Church Revitalization Track focuses on team building, conflict resolution, strategic thinking, leading change, and more. The program will equip graduates to turn declining or plateauing churches into high-functioning, growing organizations. Students in this program will also have the opportunity to join a co-curricular cohort in order to be further strengthened and encouraged by fellow students and guest speakers.
