The University of Valley Forge (UVF) was recently included on a list of Best Online Colleges for Associate Degrees by EDsmart. They explained the methodology behind their ranking as based on four points of data: affordability, student satisfaction, academic quality, and student outcome. As each data point holds equal weight, schools received a weighted overall ranking for each of those four points with 100 being the highest possible score.
All data was gathered from the National Center for Education Statistics website, College Scorecard, Payscale, and school websites.
UVF placed 19th on the list of 28 schools with a score of an even 90 points. UVF is the first of two Assemblies of God universities ranked on this specific list, the second being Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU).
EDsmart’s bio about UVF states that “UVF supports a wide variety of [full-comprehensive] programs, both online and on-campus… Although it was initially a school for pastors and evangelists, the university has grown and developed to be one of the best institutions for higher education in the country. The college was accredited in 2002 by the Middle States Association, and today it proudly awards associate’s degrees in both the sciences and the arts. Ultimately, the University of Valley Forge promotes a career-oriented learning experience that benefits students from all walks of life.”
