UVF Summer 2023 Missions Trips

The past few months have been a powerful time for our students! This summer, the University of Valley Forge sent over 5 teams around the world to be the salt and light we’re called to be. The students who were part of these trips got to see God move and experience His work in these countries firsthand. From hosting Vacation Bible School to teaching classes to running a children’s ministry, each trip was able to make an impact in their location. Here are some of their stories!

“During this trip, we were blessed with the amazing opportunity to teach students English and Bible classes, lead church services, help in youth and children’s church activities, participate in a feeding program, do a VBS with students from Promise Christian Academy, and lead a few devotionals for young children and teens in a soccer ministry program. It was the most beautiful thing to see because while there was a language barrier, there is not barrier to the movement of the Holy Spirit.” – Hannah Kopec (Nicaragua)

“My team and I went to Israel to assist an American school with whatever they needed, from helping reorganize shelves and various restoration projects to teaching some classes. The students were very hungry for Jesus, and we were glad we could help them grow. The teachers were also very appreciative of fellow Americans coming to help with things they simply don’t have time to do. It was heartbreaking to see what the kids we met grow up in and live with. I think God was able to use us in our trip to be a beacon of hope and encouragement to the students we encountered.” – Nicholas Sequino (Israel)

“While in Romania, we were able to serve through kid’s ministry, human video, sermons, testimonies, and helping out wherever was needed! It was an amazing experience to be able to see what God is doing in places where there is so much darkness. I’m grateful to have been part of a team that got to work with the ministries already in place, and the hospitality we were shown blew us away. It was amazing seeing the light in these kids’ lives, and we continue to pray that He’ll keep growing their work!” – Lakelyn Woodcook (Romania)

We are so grateful for these incredible partnerships and opportunities for our students to be part of His Mission. If you feel led to give or would like to be part of our 2024 missions trips, click here to find more information!
