ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

 

WITH OPTIONAL HR TRACK 

The Master of Arts in Organizational Development (MAOD) will help students become more effective Organizational Development and Human Resource professionals and leaders by providing a framework for understanding organizational systems and for developing system-wide strategies. Taught from a Christian worldview, the curriculum equips students with OD/HR principles and practices that will serve them in their current employment and maximize their future career potential.

 

All courses in the program are 7 weeks in length. The degree can be completed in as few as 18 months.

Through a Master of Arts in Organizational Development, you will:

  • Communicate in writing and through presentations and academic research that addresses critical issues of OD and HR
  • Assess various organizational theories and explain the impact those theories and models have on the development of the organization
  • Analyze your own leadership style and develop steps to effectively work as a team, and manage organizational behavior and change

  • Define, articulate, and embrace a personal philosophy of servanthood, integrity, ethics, OD, and HR management that is grounded in a Judeo-Christian worldview and values system
  • Demonstrate OD and HR knowledge, capabilities, and characteristics to positively impact organizations

To be eligible for acceptance into the program, you must:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
  • Submit a letter of reference from your organization endorsing your participation in the program, or from a recent professor

  • Submit official undergraduate and graduate transcripts. Send official transcripts of credits earned at all institutions of higher education. This program will accept up to six transfer credits of graduate education, depending on applicability
